DOJO SESSION 2

This week of Dojo started off with the motivated “dojees” sitting in anticipation for the first guest speaker for the semester Danny Warshay, the head of the Nelson Center for Entrepreneurship.

The topic of Danny Warshay's talk focused on Bottom Up Research and began from the leading question of “what is entrepreneurship?”

A structured process in pursuit of opportunity without regard to the resources currently controlled.

Along with this question Mr. Warshay took the students on a journey to discover “hair on fire” problems to validate and solve through bottom up research. Throughout his talk he emphasized the need for empathy and anthropological-like observation throughout the entire entrepreneurial process.

Dojees were very engaged with the talk and put forth some very interesting questions to Mr. Warshay which made for a very interesting and worthwhile discussion.
