Prospective Members

The General Body

General Body is for members want to learn more about entrepreneurship in a low-commitment way.

General members can attend bi-weekly workshops and entrepreneurship socials.

There is no application or mandatory time commitment. Attendance at workshops is highly encouraged but ultimately optional.

The Core Team

The Core Team is a dedicated group of students committed to exploring entrepreneurship.

Members invest 5-8 hours per week in EP, attend weekly meetings, and develop skills in management, alumni relations, and event planning.

Organized into seven teams, they join through an application and interview process.

Our Teams

  • Venture Team

The Venture Team supports Brown/RISD startups and local RI ventures through a VC-adjacent model. Prospective startups are vetted through a pitch-and-vote system.

  • Startup Internship Team

The Startup Internship team organizes an internship program for a small number of EP members every semester. Interns are selected through an application process.

  • Special Events Team

The Special Events Team is responsible for organizing larger EP events such as the Synapse Trip to NYC and Boston and Pitch@Brown.

  • Education Team

The Education team organizes speakers, educational events, and an introductory entrepreneurship curriculum for the general body and core members.

  • Media Team

The Media Team is responsible for managing the EP social media platforms, website, and bi-weekly newsletters. They are also in charge of promoting EP events.

  • Social Planning Team

The Social Planning Team aims to build a tight-knit community within EP by organizing socials for the club and running a coffee chat program for members.

  • Inclusion Team

The Inclusion Team ensures that EP is equitable and inclusive. They partner with different affinity groups on campus to uplift underrepresented voices in entrepreneurship.
